At Jono's Mechanical, we believe in honest, upfront pricing. Forget the hassle of booking tow trucks or taking time off work to sit in a workshop waiting room. Our fully equipped mobile servic ecomes directly to your home, workplace, or breakdown location across the Manawatū and Whanganui regions.

All prices listed exclude GST.

This covers our travel to your location, vehicle running costs, and the first 15 minutes of on-site assessment by a trade-qualified technician.

• Local (Marton, Bulls, Turakina, and surrounds): $75.00
• Regional (Palmerston North, Whanganui, Feilding): $95.00

Billed only after the first 15 minutes included in your Mobile Service Fee.

• General Mechanical Repairs & Servicing: $100.00 per hour

• Computer Diagnostic Fee (Scan Tool): $50.00 (A one-off charge if we need to plug in our specialized electronic diagnostic equipment to read or clear vehicle fault codes, or reset service reminders etc).
• Consumables & Environmental Fee: $10.00 (A flat fee applied per invoice to cover workshop supplies, rags, cleaners, and the safe, eco-friendly disposal of waste oil and fluids).

When we quote you for a specific job (like a routine service or a repair), your quote will include your Mobile Service Fee, Labour, and the cost of the Parts. No hidden surprises—just one clear price to get you back on the road

Because every make and model requires different oil grades and parts, these are our base prices. All "Starting From" prices below include our Local Mobile Service Fee ($75), Labour, Parts, and Consumables. (A $20 travel surcharge applies for regional areas like Palmerston North/Whanganui).

Includes premium engine oil and filter replacement, a check of all fluid levels, tire pressure check, and a basic under-bonnet inspection to keep your daily driver running smoothly.

Includes supply and installation of high-quality, reliable brake pads, caliper slide inspection and lubrication, and a brake fluid condition test.

Buying a new car? We’ll meet you at the seller's location and perform a comprehensive mechanical and safety inspection so you can buy with confidence. (Includes local travel and up to 1 hour of inspection time. Scan tool diagnostic is an additional $50 if requested).

Dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree? This includes our Local Mobile Service Fee and plugging in our specialized computer diagnostic scanner to read your vehicle's fault codes and advise on the repair.
